Does the plate work with all smartphones?
Yes! NFC technology is compatible with iPhone (XS and newer) and most Android smartphones. For older devices, the QR code printed on the plate gives the same result.
Which app does the email open in?
The scan opens the default email app on your customer's smartphone (Gmail, Mail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.). No additional app is needed.
Can the email subject be pre-filled?
Yes! We can set up a pre-filled subject line (e.g. “Quote request”, “Appointment booking”) to make things easier for your customers and help you sort incoming emails.
Can I change the email address after purchase?
Programming is permanent to guarantee reliability. If you change your email address, you will need a new plate. Please double-check the address to link when ordering.
Does the plate need an internet connection?
Reading the NFC chip and opening the email app work offline. Sending the email, however, requires an internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data).
